Skin concern

Serum for rough skin texture

Rough texture is mostly a surface issue: cells that cling instead of shedding evenly. A gentle glycolic acid serum, used in the evening, helps smooth the look and feel of that surface. Start slowly and wear SPF the next morning.

Why skin feels rough

Skin sheds its outermost cells on a steady cycle. Sun exposure, dryness and time slow that cycle down, and cells start to pile up unevenly. You feel it as small bumps or a sandpaper finish, and you see it when makeup catches on dry patches. Scrubbing harder rarely helps. Grainy scrubs can leave skin irritated, which makes texture look more pronounced.

How glycolic acid works

Glycolic acid is the smallest alpha hydroxy acid. It helps loosen the bonds between surface cells so they release evenly, without grit or friction. Skin feels smoother and looks more even. The Glycolic Acid Serum combines it with bilberry fruit extract and aloe leaf extract in a water-based formula. It is vegan, paraben-free and cruelty-free.

Start slowly

Apply 2–3 drops to clean, dry skin in the evening. Begin with two nights a week and add a night only when skin feels comfortable. Mild tingling can be normal. Persistent stinging or redness means you should space it out. When you are starting, do not use it on the same night as retinol. Alpha hydroxy acids can make skin more sensitive to the sun, so SPF the next morning is part of the routine.

Hydrate between acid nights

Rough skin is often dehydrated skin too. On the nights you skip the acid, and in the morning, the Hyaluronic Acid Serum keeps the surface supple so smoothness lasts. Most people notice a softer feel within the first weeks. A more even look builds with consistent use over time.

Questions

Common questions.

How long does glycolic acid take to smooth skin texture?

Many people notice skin feels softer within the first couple of weeks. A visibly more even surface takes longer and depends on consistent use. Increasing frequency too quickly tends to cause irritation, which sets progress back rather than speeding it up.

Can I use glycolic acid every night?

Some people work up to it, but it is not where you start. Begin with two nights a week and add nights gradually if skin stays comfortable. Sensitive skin often does well with two or three nights a week long term.

Does glycolic acid make your skin sensitive to the sun?

It can. Alpha hydroxy acids may increase sensitivity to the sun, so use glycolic acid in the evening and apply broad-spectrum SPF every morning, including cloudy days. Keep using SPF for a week after you stop using the acid.
