Skin concern

Serum for fine lines

Fine lines come in two kinds. Lines from dehydration soften once skin holds more water. Lines that form over time respond to patient, consistent care. Hyaluronic acid addresses the first, retinol at night the second.

Two kinds of fine lines

Dehydration lines are shallow and crisscrossed, often on the cheeks, and they look worse late in the day or in dry air. They ease quickly when skin is hydrated. Lines from expression and time sit around the eyes, mouth and forehead and stay visible regardless of hydration. Sun exposure and gradual loss of firmness both play a part. Knowing which you are looking at tells you where to start.

Retinol, used patiently

Retinol is a form of vitamin A and is widely used to support the look of smoother skin and softer fine lines over time. The Collagen & Retinol Serum combines it with phospholipids, radish root ferment filtrate, sodium hyaluronate and sodium PCA. Hydrolyzed collagen is included as a conditioning ingredient that helps skin feel smooth. It does not replace the collagen in your skin.

How to start retinol

Use it in the evening only, on clean, dry skin. Start with two or three nights a week and add more as your skin adjusts. Some dryness or light flaking in the first weeks is common. Do not use it on the same night as glycolic acid while you are starting. Wear SPF every morning. If you are pregnant, ask your doctor before using retinol.

Hyaluronic acid for a plumper look

The Hyaluronic Acid Serum, with sodium hyaluronate and glycerin, gives skin a plumper look and softens dehydration lines, often within days. It also helps offset the dryness retinol can cause. Use it every morning and on retinol nights after the retinol. Changes from retinol take months of consistency. That is normal.

Questions

Common questions.

Does hyaluronic acid help with fine lines?

It helps with the look of fine lines caused by dehydration. By drawing water into the surface, hyaluronic acid makes skin look plumper and those lines less visible. For lines that stay visible when skin is well hydrated, a retinol serum used consistently is the more fitting step.

Can I use retinol and hyaluronic acid together?

Yes, and they pair well. Apply the retinol serum first on clean, dry skin, then hyaluronic acid, then moisturizer. Hyaluronic acid helps skin stay comfortable while it adjusts to retinol, which makes it easier to keep using retinol consistently.

How long does retinol take to work on fine lines?

Retinol works on a long timeline. Skin may feel smoother within the first weeks, while changes in the look of fine lines usually take a few months of regular use. Consistency matters more than frequency. Two or three steady nights a week beats an irritated week of nightly use.
